The Pennsylvania Butterflies, behind a great outing from Trace Yeadon, who finished 4th in the RCL in innings pitched with 256.0 in 2056, defeated the Jacksonville Pilots, 2-1, at Arnold Field. The Butterflies improved their record to 61-70 with the win over Jacksonville.
Yeadon was the winner. He's now 10-13, after putting the Jacksonville offense in a vise grip. Over 9 innings, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while racking up 5 Ks.
"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Yeadon. "Successful pitchers do it."
