Warriors Pocket 9-4 Win Against San Francisco
The Walnut Creek Warriors beat the San Francisco Earthquakes, 9-4, at Castlerock Field. Walnut Creek second baseman Johnny Roark, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2060 draft, collected 1 single and 1 double with 2 runs batted in. Nelson Ramirez got the win, improving to 4-5. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. At 73-57, the Warriors have a slim two-game lead in the Thurman Munson League West Division.

Miguel Lopez had a big 3-run home run for the Warriors in the bottom of the fifth inning.
