The Chicago Eclipse got a superb performance from pitcher Joe McKnight, but the Quebec Armada still won the game, 7-3. McKnight came in in relief and pitched to 19 batters. Quebec pitcher Tim Jones got the win, upping his record to 15-4. Alberto Calderon got the loss. The 4th-place Armada hiked their record to 66-66.

John Bramante, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in home runs with 26, chipped in a 3-run home run for Quebec in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Bramante said.
