Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Cabo San Lucas Toreros and Kansas City Tornadoes.

Behind the hitting of Mark Carrozza, the Cabo San Lucas Toreros clipped the Kansas City Tornadoes, 6-5. Carrozza was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Toreros. The win went to Dalton Burgess in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Dustin Booth took the loss. Picking up the save was Ricky Pimentel, his 9th.

Had Danny Douglass not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Douglass hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Toreros.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Douglass.
