Warriors Handed 6-2 Defeat
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Buffalo Bison and Walnut Creek Warriors.

Buffalo picked up a win at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium, bumping off the Walnut Creek Warriors, 6-2. Pitcher Carl Reusch was a major reason the Bison emerged victorious. Reusch got the win, improving to 10-12. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Steve Hoefling was called on to finish, recording his 25th save.

Buffalo shortstop Mace Kota contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 138th hit of the season and put the Bison ahead, 4-0.

"Carl went out and did what we needed," said Buffalo manager Jon Green.

The win puts the Bison at 63-69, while the Warriors drop to 74-58.
