Greg Spivey was superb against Eureka. The right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the RCL with a 3.56 ERA, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Mounties victory. The score was 8-2. Montreal has a record of 80-54, placing them first in the Roberto Clemente League International Division.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Mount Royal Grounds crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"When Greg is on, he can really move the ball around," said Montreal manager Thomas Hughes.
