Ridge Runners Rally to Eke Out Win
|
The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners picked up a win at Ozark Mountain Stadium, dropping the Manhattan Slice, 3-2, in 10 innings. Jason Sanders, who finished 4th in the RCL in ERA with 2.23 in 2058, was the difference-maker. Manhattan has now lost 4 consecutive games.
The Ridge Runners got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Tommy Christian. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Ridge Runners.
"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Ridge Runners manager Paco Berroa.
