The Buffalo Bison picked up a win at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium, dropping the Hawaii Honu, 9-3. Jim Wallace, who is tied for 9th in the TML in wins with 11, was the difference-maker. Wallace, now 11-8, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 3 runs. The Honu, at 62-71, have lost 6 straight games.

Buffalo took advantage of an error in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Jonathan Schimmel hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Bison in front, 4-3.

"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," Schimmel told the Buffalo Today.
