Though he had a stellar game, Cliff Millar could not prevent his team, the Buffalo Bison, from losing, 8-5, to the Dallas Texans. Millar was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Matt White got the win, improving to 2-0. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 0. Chris Nugent earned the save for Dallas, his 2nd of the year.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Chris Sawyer? The Dallas center fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Texans on top, 8-5. For the game, Sawyer had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
