Pennsylvania designated hitter Mike Cole had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Bloomington Blazers, 7-6. Randy McCafferty wrapped it up, recording his 17th save. With this game in the books, Pennsylvania is 57-78, Bloomington 80-56.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Alex Fernandez came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Bloomington pitcher Chris Schurman, he hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Pennsylvania on top, 7-6.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Bloomington manager Jim Moores.
