Good production from designated hitter Kiyomi Arai helped the Montreal Mounties topple the Milwaukee Millers, 10-4. Arai belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Mounties. Sandy Briseno got the win, improving to 7-4. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division-leading Mounties are 70-47.

Montreal right fielder Alan Willer helped the Mounties go up, 5-3, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Willer hit a 2-run single off Milwaukee pitcher Tom Cole.
