The Pennsylvania Butterflies faced a tough opponent in Bloomington pitcher Jay Vincent, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Kaleidoscope by a final score of 5-3. Vincent went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Sam Haydon got the win, improving to 5-10. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Matt York closed the door for Pennsylvania, picking up his 28th save of the year.

The Butterflies got a big at-bat from first baseman Mike Cole. For the game, Cole went 1 for 2 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Pennsylvania a 1-0 lead.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Cole.

Pennsylvania is now 50-85. Bloomington is 83-53.
