Sasquatch Send Maple Home with 9-5 Loss
The inspired effort of Maple right fielder Kevin Spottswood was not enough to prevent a loss, 9-5, to the Seattle Sasquatch. Spottswood was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ethan Jenkins went 7.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 14 hits. The left-hander struck out 6 and walked 2. With the win, he ups his record to 5-4 this season. The Sasquatch now have a mark of 66-72.

Seattle catcher Ryan Catalano helped the Sasquatch go up, 7-5, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Catalano hit a 2-run single off Maple pitcher Eric Strief.

Catalano said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
