Eagle Rock designated hitter David Ballard contributed significantly to his team's 7-3 win over the Mexico City Luchadores. Ballard went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Ridge Runners. The Ridge Runners sit in third place in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division with a record of 69-69.

Ballard contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Eagle Rock in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Ballard took a fastball from Alex Boulware and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Ridge Runners to leap in front, 3-2.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Ballard said.
