Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Warriors
The Walnut Creek Warriors defeated the Pennsylvania Butterflies in 11 innings, 7-5, in part because of left fielder Bobby Harper. Harper went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Warriors. Ray Clemens picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 8-1. Randy McCafferty suffered the loss. Walnut Creek is now 76-63, Pennsylvania 51-87.

Walnut Creek got a knockout punch from Mike Delmonico. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
