Ridge Runners Lose, 7-5, in 13
The Dallas Texans took Roberto Vallejos's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Ozark Mountain Stadium. The final score had Dallas getting past the Ridge Runners, 7-5, in 13 innings. Vallejos over 6.2 innings allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6. Dallas reliever Chris Nugent picked up the win, upping his record to 3-9. Bryan Young absorbed the loss. Mark Walsh recorded the save for Dallas, his 1st of the season.

Josh Guerriero came through with a big-time hit for Dallas. The left fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 13th inning to give his team the lead, 7-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Guerriero.

The win puts the Texans at 63-76, while the Ridge Runners drop to 63-77.
