The Seattle Sasquatch dealt the Asheville Moonshiners a 6-5 loss at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Ethan Morehead, who finished 2nd in the RCL in runs with 119 in 2060, was the star on offense. He went 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The second-place Sasquatch improved to 66-55.

Had Charles McNeil not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, McNeil hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Sasquatch.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Asheville manager Baldassario Ardinghi. "But we decided not to take it."
