The Hawaii Honu withstood a fine game by Seattle catcher Ryan Catalano at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium, to upend the Sasquatch, 8-5. Catalano was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. Alex Didkowsky picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Dave Foster, who leads the TML in holds with 21, was tagged with the loss. The defeat makes Seattle 67-74.

Adam Hunt drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Hawaii. The 25-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Dave Foster. It was his 4th walk of the season.

"There's so many different ways you can win a game," said winning manager Naoki Okada.
