Eclipse Lose to Mavericks, 4-1

The Chicago Eclipse went down to defeat to Billy Dionne and his El Paso teammates. The final score was 4-1, in favor of the Mavericks. Morgan Henn earned the save for El Paso, his 33rd of the year. The first-place Mavericks are 80-63.
The Mavericks got a big at-bat from third baseman Nate Parish. For the game, Parish was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 23rd home run of the season gave El Paso a 3-1 lead.
"Bottom line," said Chicago skipper Demetrio Recchia, "we didn't play well enough to win."
