The Bloomington Blazers outscored the Milwaukee Millers, 11-10. Josh Neuner led the way, going 2-for-4 for Bloomington. The Thurman Munson League East Division-leading Blazers have a record of 86-55.

With Bloomington leading 10-4 in the top of the eighth, Neuner hit a run-scoring single off Milwaukee hurler Niito Toguchi. It was the 166th hit of the season for Neuner and put his team ahead, 11-4.

Milwaukee manager Daniel Breuer said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score in double digits, you expect to win the game."
