Jazz Best Luchadores in Pitching Duel

Alberto Candelaria, who is tied for 6th in the RCL in complete games with 3, pitched well, but the Mexico City Luchadores still fell short, losing, 2-1, to the West Island Jazz at Stade Claude Raymond. The third-place Jazz hiked their record to 78-65.
Jeremy Owusu, the 6th overall pick in the 2062 draft, chipped in a solo home run for West Island in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
"It was just a matter of executing," said West Island manager Pedro Gonzáles.
