Getting an impressive start from Matt Lopas, Montreal beat Montreal by the score of 4-2. Lopas got the win, improving to 17-2. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Kyle Peacock earned the save for Montreal, his 1st.

Mike Miller had a big run-scoring double for the Mounties in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Montreal leading 3-2 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Oscar Alfaro, who is tied for 4th in the TML in innings pitched with 163.0, and swatted a double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mounties ahead, 4-2.
