Chicago Eclipse starter Brendan Tucker pitched well against the Mexico City Luchadores at Millennium Field, leading his team to a win, 8-3. Chicago is in third place in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division with a record of 78-65.

Miguel Benavides had a big 2-run double for the Eclipse in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Chicago leading 4-3 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a splitter from Alex Boulware, who is tied for 9th in the RCL in quality starts with 14, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 39th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eclipse ahead, 6-3.
