The umbrellas came out during the Eagle Rock-West Island contest at Ozark Mountain Stadium.
A 4-RBI performance from Shane Achilles, who signed a 4-year contract worth $21,300,000 on 03/05/2064, helped the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners beat the West Island Jazz, 10-0. The third-place Ridge Runners have a record of 73-71.
With Eagle Rock leading 5-0 in the bottom of the seventh, Achilles came up to bat against West Island pitcher Michael Slater. Achilles hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 10th home run of the season put the Ridge Runners on top, 9-0.
"We can't expect to win," said West Island manager Pedro Gonzáles, "when we play like that."
