The Kansas City Tornadoes defeated the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 6-3, at Debris Field. Leading the charge for Kansas City was first baseman Micah Goodwin. He went 2-2 with a double and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Kansas City is now 58-87.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Goodwin hit a 2-run single. It thrust the Tornadoes into the lead, 3-1.

Kansas City manager Lewis Cannon was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
