Bighorn beat Buffalo at Ram Brewery Ballpark, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to catcher Adrien Corradini. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Mike Lake notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 8-6. Nick Merritt converted his 23rd save in 23 tries.
Bighorn took a 4-3 lead on Brett Cline's 11th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Cline hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Buffalo pitcher Raul Luna visibly frustrated.
Corradini said his team "played with focus and determination."
The third-place Bison have a record of 75-69.
