Ridge Runners Need Extra Frames to Get Past Mavericks
The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners faced a tough opponent in El Paso pitcher Alexis Ochoa, but still scratched out a win at The Corral by a final score of 5-2 in 10 innings. Ochoa went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Wilfredo Velez, 8-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. With the win, the Ridge Runners sit at 75-72.

Eagle Rock used the timely hitting of Antonio Felix to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Ridge Runners on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Felix.
