Blazers Topple Marauders, 9-2, as Shook Shines
The Bloomington Blazers bumped off the Maple Marauders, 9-2, at Arson Arena. Bill Shook hit 3 singles and 1 double. He also had 4 runs batted in. The winner was Chris Maloney in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Nick Cook took the loss. The Marauders fall to 6-10 and continue their uneven start to the 2065 season.

With Bloomington leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Shook hit a fastball from Nick Cook for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Blazers ahead, 3-0.

"We didn't put our best foot forward tonight," said losing manager Aaron McKenna.
