The West Island Jazz beat the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 8-2, at Field de Los Layendas. West Island left fielder Henry Pitcher had an outstanding performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The victory gives West Island a record of 80-67.

The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth. That's when Pitcher hit a 3-run home run off Jose Ayala. It propelled the Jazz into the lead, 3-0.
