The Bloomington Blazers knocked off the Buffalo Bison, 5-3, in Thurman Munson League action at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Bloomington pitcher and Antriol, Netherlands Antilles, native Gerald Bosma had an outstanding performance. Bloomington leads the Thurman Munson League East Division by 5 games.
Bloomington used the hitting of Kasey Mayo to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blazers on top, 5-0. For the game, Mayo had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
