The Vancouver Pioneers racked up a win at "The Fort" at B.C. Place, bumping off the San Francisco Earthquakes, 7-3. Donovan Zuidema, who started for Vancouver, pitched effectively for his team. Earning his 29th save of the year was Clay Clermont. The winning continues for Vancouver, with the latest triumph making it 8 straight.

The fans who came to support the Pioneers were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at "The Fort" at B.C. Place.

"Swagger goes hand in hand with playing well," said Vancouver manager Lemn Onkwani.
