Ridge Runners Deal Mavericks 4-2 Loss
Eagle Rock turned a fine outing from starter David Baxley into a victory over the El Paso Mavericks at The Corral. The final score was 4-2 in 16 innings. The victory gives Eagle Rock a record of 76-73.

Victor Gonzalez came through with a big-time hit for Eagle Rock. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 16th inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"A lot to like, just frustrated that we came up short," said El Paso manager Lorenzo Castillo.
