John Wolochow was a major contributor to the 7-5 Kansas City win over Chicago. The Tornadoes left fielder went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win went to Fred Poole in relief, making him now 1-2. Nick Leicht took the loss for Chicago. After today's action, Kansas City sits at 62-88; Chicago slips to 84-65.

Andy Chambers went 1 for 4 with a double for Kansas City. The 25-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jerry Bamberg. It was his 75th RBI of the season.
