The Milwaukee Millers faced a tenacious opponent in Manhattan pitcher Jason Leffert, but still scratched out a win at Copps Park by a final score of 5-4 in 12 innings. Leffert went 7.2 innings and allowed no runs. The Millers, at 61-67, sit in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.

Milwaukee needed the clutch hitting of Cade Bruett Jr. to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Millers on top, 4-3. For the game, Bruett Jr. had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
