Despite a great performance by Buffalo right fielder Jonathan Schimmel, the Bloomington Blazers defeated the Bison by the score of 10-7 in 11 innings at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Schimmel was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Sergio Apodaca earned the save, his 6th. With the win over Buffalo, the Blazers improved to 92-57.

Bloomington took advantage of an error in the top of the 11th inning. The game was tied, 7-7, when Josh Neuner hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Blazers in front, 9-7.

"It was terrific getting this win," Neuner said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
