The Seattle Sasquatch beat the Jacksonville Pilots, 7-1, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Starting pitcher Rick Rielly was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Rielly, now 3-5, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Seattle now owns a record of 72-79.

In the bottom of the fourth, Seattle center fielder Bill Pride had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Pride stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 2-0, Seattle. For the game, he went 2 for 4 with a double.

"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Rielly.
