Toreros Rack Up 4-1 Win Versus Jacksonville
|
Alejandro Castro, who finished 5th in the TML in innings pitched with 237.1 in 2055, was terrific for the Cabo San Lucas Toreros in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Jacksonville Pilots. His performance earned Castro rave reviews. The winning pitcher was Castro, now 7-13. He tossed 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. Cabo San Lucas has run its win streak to 4 straight.
Cabo San Lucas used the hitting of Dennis Allen to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Toreros on top, 3-0. For the game, Allen had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
