The Bighorn Bison did just enough to sneak past the Maple Marauders, 6-5, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Bighorn third baseman Chris Crofts, in particular, had a standout performance. Bighorn reliever Nick Merritt picked up the win, raising his record to 2-3. Josh Wahl was tagged with the loss. Bighorn now sits at 70-81, while Maple falls to 72-80.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bill Dunlap in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Josh Wahl to win the game for Bighorn. The home crowd went nuts.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Crofts said in his postgame press conference.
