Gilliland Excels, Chicago Blows Out Eureka
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Chicago fans at Millennium Field.

The Chicago Eclipse pinned a convincing loss on the Eureka Hornets, 13-3, at Millennium Field. Larry Gilliland was a main factor in the win. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for Chicago. Chicago is now 87-66, while Eureka is 93-60.

The Eclipse picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Gilliland told the Chicago Chronicle.
