Lamanske Hits 2 home runs in Mounties Win
Spirited fans greeted the West Island Jazz for their clash with the Montreal Mounties.

Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old first baseman Bob Lamanske, the Montreal Mounties defeated the West Island Jazz, 7-1. The first-place Mounties have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.

With Montreal leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Lamanske hit a splitter from Sam Hickey for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Mounties ahead, 4-0.

"Do what you're good at," said Montreal manager Julián Martínez. "That's all I ask of the team."
