Hursh Dominates Jazz in 2-0 Shutout
All went well for Mike Hursh of the Bloomington Blazers as he pitched his team to a shutout victory, 2-0, over the Montreal Jazz, limiting them to 4 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Hursh on the day.

"Mike's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Blazers manager Leo Dethwright. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."

In the contest, the Bloomington left-hander rang up 5 and surrendered no walks.

"He didn't give us any second chances," said Jazz manager Pedro Gonzáles. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."

To date Hursh is 5-8 in 21 starts with a 3.69 ERA and has 89 strikeouts in 139 innings.
