Eric Woolsey powered the Dallas Texans to a win over the Manhattan Slice. The final score was 9-3. The Dallas center fielder was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. By defeating Manhattan, the 6th-place Texans improved to 57-75.

In the bottom of the second, 24-year old catcher Art Finn hit a 2-run double. The 15th double of the season for the Dallas catcher put the Texans on top, 2-0.
