The Chicago Eclipse got a strong performance from pitcher Chris Titus. RCP2057 stymied the Eureka offense en route to a solid, 5-1 win at Millennium Field. Titus, who finished 3rd in the TML in ERA with 4.08 last year, went the distance for Chicago. He gave up 1 run on 8 hits. The loss makes Eureka 94-61.

The Eclipse got a big at-bat from left fielder Miguel Benavides. For the game, Benavides went 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 5th triple of the season gave Chicago a 2-0 lead.
