Extra-Inning Win by Sasquatch Over Warriors
Ryan Catalano was instrumental in his team's 5-3, extra-inning triumph over the Walnut Creek Warriors. The catcher went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks for the Seattle Sasquatch. Picking up the save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Rick Clark. The Sasquatch, at 74-81, sit in 5th place in the Thurman Munson League West Division.

Dan Carnes came through with a big-time hit for Seattle. The second baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We just battled, never quit, and continued to grind out at-bats trying to create some opportunities," said Seattle manager Vicente Vargas.
