The Bison grabbed a win, 8-7, at The Mandalore Complex, overcoming a fine effort from Milwaukee pitcher Alejandro Munoz. Munoz went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Steve Hoefling earned the save for Buffalo, his 2nd. Milwaukee is 9-8 after the loss.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Ruben Acevedo to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bison on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Milwaukee manager Daniel Breuer. "But we decided not to take it."
