The Buffalo Bison finished off the Maple Marauders, 6-3. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Cliff Millar. Millar was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Bison. Steve Hoefling finished the game for Buffalo and earned his 32nd save. The setback makes Maple 68-89.

Buffalo used a timely hit from Jonathan Schimmel to get the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bison ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.

Millar told a Buffalo Observer reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
