Robertson Hits Two Dingers, Earthquakes Win, 4-1
|
The San Francisco Earthquakes stymied the Walnut Creek Warriors, 4-1, at Golden Gate Park. Dylan Robertson had a good day at the plate. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for San Francisco. Justin Allmond got the win, improving to 3-7. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 7 and walking 0. San Francisco's record now stands at 70-88, placing them last in the Thurman Munson League West Division.
Early in the game, Robertson had a 2-run home run for San Francisco. It was his 26th home run of the season and put the Earthquakes on top, 2-0.
In comments to the San Francisco Daily, Robertson insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
