The Chicago Eclipse picked up a win at Millennium Field, knocking off the Buffalo Bison, 4-3. On the mound for Chicago was right-hander Sergio Moreno. He played a key role in the triumph. Chicago reliever Oscar Zegarra picked up the win, upping his record to 5-9. Gary Halliwell was saddled with the loss. The Eclipse are now 57-78.

Enrique Zarate was the walk-off hero for Chicago. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Eclipse second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Zarate told the Chicago Times: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
