The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners picked up a win at Ozark Mountain Stadium, courtesy of Willie Borrero. The right-hander helped his team stop the Kansas City Tornadoes, 3-2. Borrero got the win, improving to 12-11. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Picking up the save was 27-year old left-handed pitcher Scott Eiken.

Ron Mulhollan contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. His at-bat helped Eagle Rock get the win.

"Tough loss," said Kansas City manager Lewis Cannon. "But we'll learn from it."

The 4th-place Ridge Runners hiked their record to 73-86.
