The timely hitting of Matt Chabot helped the Dallas Texans down the Chicago Eclipse, 5-2. Chabot was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Texans. Chris Nugent earned his 35th save in 41 chances. The Texans, at 69-90, sit in last place in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division.

Early in the game, Chabot had a 2-run home run for Dallas. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Texans on top, 2-0.
