Mexico City Falters Again, Loses, 7-4, to Montreal
Jared Jones powered the Montreal Mounties to a win over the Mexico City Luchadores. The final score was 7-4. The Montreal designated hitter, who leads the RCL in total bases with 371, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Owen Stegemann picked up the win with 7.1 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 12-12. Josh Caldwell finished the game for Montreal and earned his 2nd save.

Cody Jaeger, who finished 4th in the RCL in wins above replacement with 4.9 last year, helped out the Montreal cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 3-5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times.
