Toreros Squeeze Out Win in Pitching Duel
In a tight game between the Cabo San Lucas Toreros and the Maple Marauders, pitcher B.J. Bichler was terrific on the mound. The Cabo San Lucas right-hander helped his team to the 1-0 win. The winning pitcher was Bichler, now 9-10. He tossed 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 7. Today's win puts Cabo San Lucas at 70-67, while Maple falls to 56-81.

Cabo San Lucas left fielder Pat Bean contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 142nd hit of the season and put the Toreros ahead, 1-0.
