The Jacksonville Pilots and Pennsylvania Butterflies played an entertaining game for Arnold Field patrons.

Jacksonville left-hander Chris McEvoy pitched his team to victory over the Pennsylvania Butterflies at Arnold Field. The final score was 4-3. McEvoy yielded 1 run over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 6-8.

The Pilots got a big hit from designated hitter Chris Ingram. Facing Pennsylvania pitcher Bruce Hauber in the bottom of the fifth, Ingram pounded a run-scoring double to right-center. His 22nd double of the season put the Pilots ahead, 4-1.

Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

With the victory, the Pilots upped their record to 94-65.
